Evaporation is one of the biggest sources of water loss, especially in windy or sunny weather. Using a pool cover when the pool isn't in use can significantly reduce top-ups. Even a liquid solar blanket can help.
Backwashing the filter is necessary, but doing it only when the pressure gauge shows it's needed (and for the minimum time) saves water. We can show you how to read your gauge and when to backwash.
Fix leaks quickly. A dripping pump or a small leak in the plumbing can waste thousands of litres over time. If you notice the water level dropping faster than usual, we can help track down the cause.
Finally, keeping the water balanced means less need to drain and refill. Regular chemical checks and small adjustments go a long way to preserving both water quality and quantity.
